Olivia Schmitz
Stylist
Olivia always dreamed of becoming a hairstylist as a kid. Later in life, her plans changed and she graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in special education. It was a few years into her career when her passion for the beauty industry eventually led her back to her original dream.
Today, Olivia specializes in blonding, from bright blondes to dimensional shades, and is especially focused on growing her extension business.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hitting the gym, reading, and being outdoors, especially by the lake. Olivia loves connecting with her clients and helping them feel beautiful, both inside and out.
Abby Jackson
Stylist
Abby has known for the last decade that she would become a hairstylist. She graduated from Aveda Institute and is quickly building her clientele. Abby loves all color techniques but has a special place in her heart for lived in and dimensional looks, whether that’s blondes, brunettes or even fashion colors (seriously… love a fashion color!) On her days off Abby enjoys spending time with her friends and has been known to wait in cue for hours to get Harry Styles tickets.
Lauren Davis
Stylist
Lauren believes that her job is not just to make someone look good on the outside, but also about making them feel good on the inside. She specializes in color and her expertise is in lived-in, dimensional looks; as well as bright blondes.
She found her love for hair extensions way back in high school when she discovered how life changing they were for herself; and has spent the last 3 years getting certified in several different methods and brands in order to bring the best of the best to her clients.
Lauren describes herself as down to earth, genuine, and quirky, and is confident that you will have a fun time whenever you’re in her chair.
Taryn Broer
Stylist
Taryn has been growing her loyal following of clients since she graduated school in 2003. Her warm personality and natural care-taking abilities make her the incredible hairstylist she is today. Taryn is a cutting specialist who never shies away from a bob, pixie or curly cut. She spent eight years at Spalon in Edina, first doing advanced training herself, and then mentoring up and coming stylists. When she isn’t keeping us entertained here at work, you can find her at home with her husband Bronson and their three kids: Crosby, Hank and Max.
Lindsey Johnson
Stylist
Lindsey graduated from the Aveda Institute Minneapolis in 2022! After assisting Erin, she is now full time behind the chair! Her love for the industry began when she was a little girl, watching her grandma do hair in the little salon of her home in Forest Lake, MN!
Going into cosmetology school she knew she wanted to specialize in blonding and hand-tied extensions. Three years later, that’s exactly what she loves getting to do every day. When Lindsey is not in the salon, she enjoys spending time with her friends on the lake, playing sand volleyball, and hiking adventures with her dog Rizzo!
Harper Schultze
Stylist
Harper is one of our newest additions at Gardner & Co. She is currently assisting Molly and will be completing her training soon! Harper will be taking her own client’s beginning in December.
Kara McElmurry
stylist
Kara is passionate about all hair color. She loves blonding services as well as dimensional lived in looks. Known for creating stunning bridal styles, Kara takes pride in enhancing all of her clients’ natural features. Above all, she fosters an environment where every client feels comfortable, safe and valued, ensuring they leave feeling as beautiful as they truly are.
When she is not at the salon, you can find her hanging out with her dog, Hobbes, reading, or driving around blasting music with her friends.
Jess Olson
stylist
Jess chose to finally chase her dream of becoming a stylist after years working in the corporate world. She brings with her a strong knowledge of customer service, and an attention to detail that is unmatched. More recently, Jess has become certified in Gardner & Co. Salon’s extension method of choice and is quickly building her clientele.
Jess has achieved all this, while being an amazing mom to two beautiful daughters and a wife to her husband Matt.
